Boy was I a mess when I first met Dr. Mark and his staff at Cedar Chiropractic. For over two months I had been experiencing debilitating back pain that radiated down my left leg. As a teacher who stood on my feet five to six hours at a time each day and put in an average of 12-14 hours per day, I was suffering, to put it mildly.

I had been to an orthopedic doctor, who had put me on a powerful steroid and had prescribed a hard, bulky brace for my back. The pain was still there and wearing the brace was uncomfortable and surely limited my wardrobe!

After weeks of hearing me scream out in pain every morning while trying to get ready for work, my husband decided to take things into his own hands. Our friend and financial advisor had told us about Dr. Mark and described him as a "miracle worker." My husband called and made an appointment and went with me on my initial visit. I could hardly get in and out of the car, walking was extremely painful, and I had very little flexibility of body movement. Both Dr. Mark and his wonderful staff reassured me that I would get better (I was very doubtful at that point), and they went to work.

This week I had my re-evaluation and Dr. Mark described my recovery as "remarkable." My flexibility is returning, I can actually walk without pain, and I can drive my Miata again!!!! Words could never adequately describe the relief of living without constant excruciating pain. Yes, I still have a ways to go, but now I actually have hope that I will be able to do a lot of the things I enjoyed doing before my injury. Dr. Mark and his staff have been sympathetic, understanding, supportive, and have managed to make me laugh at a time when laughing wasn't easy.

Thanks to everyone at Cedar Chiropractic Center, Im well on the road to recovery and feel that I am more educated in what caused my problem, how to correct it and how to avoid future injury-and all without drugs to mask the pain!
