When you call Cedar Chiropractic Center, you can expect from the beginning to be treated professionally. This is a traditional family practice and our patients are treated as individuals and not as a number. When you call to make your initial appointment, we will schedule you at the earliest most convenient time possible. You should plan on spending about an hour and fifteen minutes at this initial visit. We are almost always prompt and on schedule.

Chiropractic X-RayThis period of time will involve a Patient Confidential Case Form which you will fill out; a one on one Consultation with Dr. Mark; a complete Spinal Exam and evaluation; and any spinal X-rays deemed necessary to complete the analysis. These x-rays are done on the premises for your convenience. You will then be scheduled for a Report of Findings visit on the next day or the next earliest convenient time. At that report we will go over what the problem is, how long we expect it to take to correct, and any financial plans to cover expenses. Typical chiropractic care involves a series of consecutive visits with initial frequency and then diminishing frequency after routine progress evaluations.

The usual response most patients report back is that over a series of spinal adjustments and time, they notice less frequency and severity of their problems as the body's ability to heal has now been enhanced. The spinal adjustments are a drugless and natural procedure. Most patients opt for routine maintenance or wellness check-ups to keep the body at the better state of health it has achieved rather than wait for it to digress back to where it was.

It is important to understamd that your symptoms, what your complaints are, and your problem, that which is causing your complaints, are no the same and therefore do not improve or respond in a linear relationship. Symptoms are always the last thing to show up when you have a problem and are also the first thing to improve and go away. so, it is important to understand that even when you are asymptomatic, or with complaints, your problem is still present but improving and continued care is still necessary til the problem is fully corrected and stabilized. This is determined through various objective tests during your periodic re-exams.
